About me

I am a photographer and photojournalist working in SWFL. I love shooting everything, from sports, portraits, and landscapes to concerts, events, and news.

I found my passion for photography my senior year of high school when I picked up my grandfather's 35mm film camera. Learning photography with a film camera was so rewarding. I fell in love with the planning and patience it took to get it right and the excitement of seeing my images for the first time after they were developed.

I am a recent graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations and Comparative Politics, along with a minor in Global Studies. In addition to my studies, I worked as an athletics photographer under FGCU Athletics covering 15 D1 sports on and off campus. I also had an internship with University Marketing & Communications department as a marketing photographer. Lastly, I served as Photo Editor for the student-run news outlet, Eagle News.

A little bit more about me...

Growing up I was a dancer. I studied many different styles, but tap was my specialty. In high school I was a competitive dancer and worked as an instructor at my studio for 5 years. I loved teaching dance and hope to find time for it again after graduating. In my time as a dancer, I was able to travel and attend classes and workshops with industry professionals. My favorite experiences were taking classes at Broadway Dance Center in NYC.

I love traveling and photographing those travels! I'm hoping my photography career will take me around the world.
